Megan's Party was alot of fun! We invited 24 and had 30 to come...she had a great crowd and enjoyed herself...by the time I got finished with the night, I didn't know which way was up and down. (you just can't beat it when your group picture has one on the front nose digging in his nose...Megan does the same thing!!!)
Then we had our Quarterly GRACE event at church...it went well, but we didn't have as many as usual due to busy schedules. We "trashed" the fellowship hall and I even took my laundry to follow with the theme of "Clean Sweep". We ate, played games, and did a skit/devotion. The lesson centered around Cleaning our own hearts out by staying in God's word and repenting. I may write more about that later.
Saturday we had Jamboree. By the time it was time to play our game, CarrieBeth was exhausted and was dragging...I couldn't help but get tickled at her...she was the last one on the field and the last one off. This year she has been playing pretty well, but she didn't care if that ball came to her on this day...it was funny...needless to say, she came home and slept all afternoon! I had to add a picture of her face in the dugout...hehe

On to tonight...we had pictures at tumbling in Andalusia. I got CarrieBeth and Megan's makeup and hair completely done before leaving the house. Megan decided to pitch a HUGE fit about the pants she wanted to wear and the pants I had out for her. By the time she finished her rage, she looked like a drowning racoon. She had mascara from one end of her face to the other. It was an ordeal which created a few tense moments for my sanity...getting two girls ready in costumes is a huge undertaking!
Finally, tonight we ended up at the Dairy Queen in Andalusia. It takes the smallest things to have a good time. We all enjoyed our meal and had fun eating ice cream...It was nice to sit down and look at my family for more than 15 minutes!

Looks like you guys have been as busy as we have lately:) I LOVE Megan's birthday outfit!
